Taylor Swift will reveal a new song entitled ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’ next week. It won’t be a track from her fifth album, however, but a song she’s contributed to the soundtrack of upcoming movie One Chance about the life story of Paul Potts, winner of Britain’s Got Talent season 1. The film will follow his inspirational journey from being a Welsh steel mill worker to famed opera singer. It will star Julie Walters and James Corden. Alleged to play over the movie’s end credits, ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’ was co-written by Taylor and Jack Antonoff, the guitarist from fun.. I’m intrigued to hear what this sounds like. I know she hasn’t exactly been country for a while now, so it’s no surprise it’s being described as “poppy”, but it sounds interesting. Of course, it could be really cheesy, which would suck. Naya Rivera tweeted a picture from the set of Glee featuring new guest star Demi Lovato. Is this the beginning of Dantana? Demi is said to be joining the cast as a new love interest for Santana’s character. The duo are rumored to be performing “Here Comes The Sun” in the new season. Demi is set to make her debut on Glee in the episode airing October 3rd.

Jane Jackson, the daughter of country legend Alan Jackson, was arrested early this morning (August 28). She was pulled over for speeding, before she got into an altercation with an officer, and according to said officer she was pretty drunk, slurring her words and smelling of alcohol. Apparently she even tried to bring up her father’s name to get herself out of trouble! Of course, it didn’t work. Jane Jackson was arrested and charged with consuming alcohol under 21 (she’s only 20 years old), resisting arrest and assaulting an officer. She made bail shortly before 5AM. She is due to appear in General Sessions Court on September 23. Her older sister, Mattie Denise Jackson, was arrested for DUI in 2012 in Nashville. She was convicted of misdemeanor reckless driving. Looks like it runs in the family. Maybe Alan needs to schedule a family meeting!

6 people were killed in their sleep by lava as Mount Rokatenda in Indonesia erupted Saturday morning. What a horrible way to die. MAUMERE, Indonesia (AP) — Hot lava from an erupting volcano killed six people sleeping in a beach village on a small island in eastern Indonesia on Saturday, after ash and smoke from the volcano shot about a mile into the air, officials said. Mount Rokatenda in East Nusa Tenggara province erupted early Saturday morning, and nearly 3,000 people have been evacuated from the area on Palue island, according to the National Disaster Mitigation Agency. The volcano has been rumbling since last October. The victims who died included three adults and two children, said agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, adding that the age of the sixth person killed was unclear. He said that the adults’ bodies were recovered from Ponge beach in Rokirole village, but that the children’s remains had not been found.

In a nutshell: Tech geeks are disappointed by the “specs” (it’s “only” a dual core and a 720 display for example), but the everyday use (for normal folks) of this device is crazy good. The voice activated feature is amazing. The camera apparently is not good and the most disappointing feature of the phone.

Now that Bruce Willis has departed the franchise after a falling out with Sylvester Stallone — reportedly over Willis’s demand for $4 million for four days of work — we’re getting some fresh blood for the next installment of The Expendables. Entertainment Weekly reports that Stallone, in addition to adding Harrison Ford, has cast Mel Gibson as the villain in the action sequel. Also joining the cast is Antonio Banderas, whom Stallone called “a consummate actor and a gentleman” in a statement confirming the casting news. Great news for fans of MTV’s Awkward. The series was just renewed for season 4. The show will be returning with new showrunners this time around. Awkward is set to return with the rest of season 3 sometime in October.
