Taylor Swift To Reveal New Song ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’
It won’t be a track from her fifth album, however, but a song she’s contributed to the soundtrack of upcoming movie One Chance about the life story of Paul Potts, winner of Britain’s Got Talent season 1. The film will follow his inspirational journey from being a Welsh steel mill worker to famed opera singer. It will star Julie Walters and James Corden.
Alleged to play over the movie’s end credits, ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’ was co-written by Taylor and Jack Antonoff, the guitarist from fun.. I’m intrigued to hear what this sounds like. I know she hasn’t exactly been country for a while now, so it’s no surprise it’s being described as “poppy”, but it sounds interesting. Of course, it could be really cheesy, which would suck. I don’t like cheese (as in cheesy things, not cheese as in the food. I love cheese).
The movie will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday, September 6.
Taylor is a busy girl lately. She’s currently promoting single ‘Red’ and ‘Everything Has Changed’ a duet with tour mate Ed Sheeran.
