The Ladies 1500m Speed Skating was the event to pick up some medals at the Sochi Winter Olympics. It was a huge day for the Netherlands, who ranked in places 1-4.

GOLD: Jorien Ter Mors (Netherlands)
Time: 1:53.51 (Olympic Record)

SILVER: Ireen Wust (Netherlands)
Time: 1:54.09

BRONZE: Lotte Van Beek (Netherlands)
Time: 1:54.54

Just missing out on the podium were contenders from Russia, Poland and the USA.
