Kacey Musgraves Returns To Top of Billboard Charts After Grammys Performance

Kacey Musgraves sure had a good night at the 56th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26th. Not only did she win Best Country Song for co-penning her breakout hit, ‘Merry Go Round’, and Best Country Album for her critically-acclaimed Same Trailer Different Park, but she also got to perform her current single ‘Follow Your Arrow’ during the ceremony.

All three of these factors have catapulted Kacey’s aforementioned album back to #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Ever since its release back in March 2013, and subsequent #1 first sales week, it has been hovering around the top 40 country albums each week, but it’s been some time since it even featured in the top 10, apart from last week, where it received a surge that reached its peak this week.

The album sold over 27,000 copies during the past seven days, to add to the 346,000 total copies sold over the past 11 months. Congratulations to Kacey! Well deserved.
