The revelation came days after Doctor Who show runner Steven Moffat teased that a first look was just around the corner. With the series due to film on location soon, the reveal is likely a timely one.

What do you think Who fans? Are cardigans cool? And is the lack of a sonic screwdriver significant?

We lament the presence of a pocket watch, but overall can’t fault this streamlined classic look.
