‘Rookie Blue’ renewed for Season 5

Summer cop dramas aren’t exactly in short supply these days, and ABC isn’t looking to change that any time soon.

TVLine is reporting that the network has given a fifth season renewal to Rookie Blue.

The Canadian import, starring Missy Peregrym and Gregory Smith, will air season five next summer. The current season airs on Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
